Every point you raised, against what Asana actually delivers. Where something is not included, or needs a higher plan, or is development work rather than a switch, it says so — because finding that out after signing is worse than hearing it now. The last column names the recording that shows it.

A request arrives

A school chair opens the form and asks for a course. It arrives as a record — named by the course, with the school, modality and target semester already set, and every answer copied into the description. Nobody re-types anything, and nothing depends on finding an email thread again in March.

The full course development board, from Request Received through to Live. These are the stages from your own SOPs, in the order you run them — not a template you have to fit into.
The contract

RELB 210, open. Three of four signatures are in: the SME on 22 August, the School Chair on the 27th, the DOE on the 29th. The HR Director is still pending — and it has been since 28 August. Everyone can see it, without asking.

The last signature lands. The card leaves Contract In Signature, arrives in Templates Issued, and its stage updates itself. Bottom left, Asana confirms it: Running 1 rule. A rule is a trigger and an action — no code, and your own team can build it.
The department

Five projects: three on track, two at risk — with the reason for each risk written down. Contracts sitting with HR, and three SME certifications lapsing before Spring 2027 development starts. It is not assembled the night before; it is what the work already says.

Deliver every Spring 2027 online course on time: 27%, three of eleven. Nobody types that number. It is computed from the tasks underneath it, so it is never out of date.
